Backing Up Your Synology NAS With Hyper Backup

In this video, I’ll show you how to back up your Synology NAS using Hyper Backup. Hyper Backup features the ability to schedule backups, retain multi-version backups, file compression, client-side encryption, and probably the best de-duplication system I’ve seen in a backup program.

Not only that, the backups themselves are portable, allowing you to easily move entire backups to bigger drives simply by copying a single file. You can back up configuration data as well as restore data on the NAS itself or on a PC using Hyper Backup Explorer for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
